Sustainability Policy

Sustainability is one of Tangível Group’s essential pillars since its foundation.

We put people at the centre of everything we do, not only to improve the experiences they have with products and services, but also to guarantee that together we build a more accessible, transparent and environmentally responsible world.

The sustainability of humanity and our planet is inseparable from our business strategy.

We work continuously to apply measures that contribute to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, having signed our pledge with “Digital with Purpose” movement with that goal in mind.

Climate Change

In a collective effort to reduce CO2 emissions, we give our collaborators the freedom to work remotely, as well as access to paid public transportation between offices, contributing to reducing the pollution associated with regular work travel.

At our offices, reducing and reusing is encouraged, as is the correct disposal of all our products.

We also try to sensitize the organizations responsible for our offices’ management to the need to become more sustainable and we have been pleasantly accompanying their progress towards that goal.

Digital Responsibility

We strive to help our clients make environmentally responsible decisions and make their products and services more useful, inclusive and accessible. Additionally, at Tangível Academy, we teach courses on Human-Centered Design subjects to ensure that these good practices reach more and more people (1).

Equality and Inclusion

We are guided by the principles withing United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights, promoting fair labour conditions, equality of opportunity and access to healthcare.

As mentioned before, we promote the creation of accessible digital products in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

We maintain a balance of gender and minority representation among our employees, never discriminating (2).

Circular Economy

We take into consideration our company’s real needs when purchasing new products. We try to extend their lifespans using various strategies, such as allowing our employees to purchase our company’s used products.


We make a careful selection of our suppliers to guarantee that they are aligned with our position regarding all of our aforementioned concerns.


We share all relevant information with our clients, suppliers and employees in order to not only convey trust, mas also to promote long-term relationships.

As a result, our communication with our employees is based on honesty, informing them regularly about our companies’ financial performance, our business partnerships and any matter that has an impact on their day-to-day at work. Our employees are also invited to voice their opinions and concerns openly with our company, through our designated moments and channels build for that purpose.


The access to a course on cybersecurity, as well as General Data Protection Regulation processes, guarantee that both Tangível Group and our employees are attentive and informed on the current legislation and that we comply with good practices when dealing with sensitive client, user and employee data.

In the event of a confidentiality breach, we inform both the parties involved as well as those legally required, in a timely manner.
