Meet the team
Engineering, digital and business: this is probably the best combo to introduce André.
He’s an entrepreneur at heart, interested in building a better world for future generations.
He’s also keen on high speed and morning runs (but not necessarily combined).
José is a firm believer in the power of serendipity.
Years ago, reading “The Design of Everyday Things” inspired him to start his own company.
He’s a creative mind and an advocate of all things UX and human-centered (and pizza with banana topping).
Rui is obsessed with football and a lover of Bossa Nova.
It goes without saying that he’s a big fan of the Brazilian culture.
Always looking and ready for a good lead, he makes our operations run smoothly.
Head of Marketing
Marta has traveled the world and can’t wait to hop on a plane again.
Vegetarian and a slow fashion advocate, she stands for sustainable living.
And if you happen to hear the Game of Thrones theme playing, it’s probably Marta’s phone ringing.
Head of Human Resources
Black everything (from clothes to vinyl records), loud music and good adventures: these are all things we can relate to Cristiana.
You’ll find her singing hard rock (or fado, just as easily), riding a motorcycle or going for a stroll with her dog Amália.
Head of Recruitment
Joana gets her good humor from the stunning landscapes of the Azores.
She could’ve followed her plans to become an air force pilot but was drawn to study people instead of planes.
Sooner or later, we’re going to get her to recall her clarinet skills and cheer up some random meeting.
Human Resources Manager
Gil will engage in any good conversation about politics or traveling.
If he had to choose a soundtrack for his life, it would be Eddie Vedder’s Into the Wild.
Although he claims to be an introvert, we think that’s a myth.
You’d never imagine Joana having a car and a driver’s license because she absolutely loves using public transport.
Since becoming a nomad is just a dream for now, she travels to Berlin whenever possible with her better-half (guess where they started dating?).
Summer festivals are definitely Renata’s happy place.
Music playing, a light summer breeze and she’s got herself a party.
On Fridays, our Slack bot reminds us it’s time to wrap up the week and Renata reminds us that it’s time for a cold beer at sunset.
Joana Archer de Queirós
The perfect plan for Joana is binge watching her favorite shows on TV, in the company of her dog, Tequila.
She lived in Macau for 14 years but traded it for Lisbon, where she now enjoys nice sunsets drinking ice cold beer with friends.
There’s always a full house with Verónica: three children, two dogs and a cat.
Big fan of super heroes, she has a fertile imagination and a cheerful, optimistic mindset.
For her, it’s never too early to start planning a party, especially if we’re talking about Christmas.
Ana Marta Freixo
Digital Experience Recruiter
Her terrible sense of direction has already granted Ana Marta some amusing stories (and others that aren’t so amusing).
Curiously, she will always find her way to a good dinner party with friends or the nearest beach destination.
Andreia’s taste for architecture and decoration led her to build her own home.
And although “project dream house” is already accomplished on her side, she keeps seeking the best projects for our digital creators.
Before joining Hyphen, Pedro worked in several fields, from construction to agriculture (we can say he’s a real jack-of-all-trades). He’s passionate about sustainability, circular economy and dogs. Pedro grew up in Sintra, so we have a clue about where his love of nature comes from.
Hyphen builds meaningful relationships. I have great colleagues, that help me grow every day, and my manager calls regularly to check on me. They create friendly relationships since day one, and that’s a rare thing in the business world.
