Portuguese company specialized in UX (User Experience) and Product Design continues to establish itself among the fastest-growing tech companies, joining the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Portugal for the second consecutive year and the FT1000 – Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies, following a 2025 marked by strong international expansion and repositioning. The strategy now focuses on strengthening its presence in Europe, North America, and the Middle East. The expectation is that, by the end of the year, more than 80% of projects will intensively integrate artificial intelligence.
Lisbon, April 27, 2026 – Hyphen, the largest UX company in Portugal, expects to continue growing above 20% and reach €7.3 million in revenue in 2026. These results are mainly driven by increased demand for specialized services at the intersection of user experience, technology, and artificial intelligence, both in Portugal and internationally.
These results follow a particularly strong 2025, in which the company recorded €5.9 million in revenue, representing a 27% increase compared to 2024, consolidating its position as one of the fastest-growing Portuguese companies in the technology and digital experience sector.
The company currently works with some of the leading organizations in Portugal, including Brisa, EDP, El Corte Inglés, Millennium, Santander, and Vodafone, as well as North American tech companies, European fintechs, and large international corporations.
“Organizations today face increasingly complex challenges in how they integrate technology, artificial intelligence, and user experience. Our mission is to help them transform these challenges into more effective, intuitive, and human digital products and services,” says André Esteves de Carvalho, CEO of Hyphen.
One of the fastest-growing Portuguese tech companies
In recent years, Hyphen has accumulated several recognitions that reinforce its position in the national and European technology landscape.
The company was distinguished for the third consecutive year as a PME Líder, a status awarded by IAPMEI to companies with strong economic performance and sustained growth strategies.
In 2025, and for the second consecutive year, it was also included in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Portugal ranking, which highlights the fastest-growing tech companies in the country.
At the European level, it was also included in the FT1000: Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2026 ranking by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista, where it stood out as the third fastest-growing Portuguese company, recording an average annual growth rate (CAGR) of 55.4%.
International expansion as a growth driver
International expansion remains one of Hyphen’s main strategic pillars. Throughout 2025, the company developed projects in markets such as the United States, United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, strengthening its presence in geographies with high digital maturity.
For 2026, the strategy focuses on consolidating and expanding its presence in Europe, North America, and the Middle East, increasingly working with global organizations facing complex challenges at the intersection of technology, business, and digital experience.
This growth will continue to rely on a flexible and distributed model, with remote teams and globally delivered projects.
AI applied to digital experience at the core of the strategy
Another key focus for 2026 is the increasingly intensive integration of Artificial Intelligence into UX projects.
Hyphen is already developing initiatives that use AI across different stages of the experience design process, from research and analysis to prototyping and development.
“The expectation is that, by the end of the year, more than 80% of projects will intensively integrate artificial intelligence,” says Rui Sousa Pedro, Head of Innovation at Hyphen.
Strategic repositioning marks a new phase for the company
The year 2025 also marked a structural shift for Hyphen, which evolved from a company primarily focused on specialized UX outsourcing to an end-to-end digital experience consultancy.
The company now combines strategic projects, specialized teams, consulting, and training programs, strengthening its ability to operate across the entire lifecycle of digital products and services.
This repositioning was accompanied by a deep rebranding, reflecting the company’s evolution and its international ambition.
Hyphen plans to continue strengthening its team throughout 2026, with a focus on hiring talent in user experience and artificial intelligence. The strategy is to recruit hybrid profiles that combine strong UX expertise with the practical application of AI across different functional areas, such as UX Research, Product Design, Front-end Development, and digital strategy.
